Edit underwriting Inputs safely

How to review and change deal assumptions in Inputs.

Inputs show the assumptions and editable values that drive the deal workspace.

This is where Reia turns extracted and reviewed deal facts into a live underwriting view your team can inspect and adjust.

Before editing

Before changing an Input, check the row label, details marker, status badge, unit, and surrounding section. Small values can have large effects when they drive Statements, Dashboard metrics, or Graph relationships.

Input status badges can show Missing, Default, Agent draft, Agent verified, or User provided. Use those states as review signals while you move between source notes, Statements, Dashboard, and Graph.

Edit narrowly

To edit a simple field, click the value, enter the corrected value, then leave the field. Dropdowns and choice buttons save when you choose an option.

For tables, select a cell to review it, edit only the row or value you intend to change, and use row actions only when you mean to add, duplicate, or remove a row.

Good Input edits are narrow. Change one assumption at a time when testing impact. Keep units and periods consistent with the field label, and use original source values unless your team has agreed on an adjustment.

Add or update the visible source note when it helps the next reviewer. Recheck Statements, Dashboard, and Graph after material edits.

To try it, choose one assumption, open its details marker, review Source and History, edit the value, then check the affected Statements, Dashboard metric, or Graph relationship before changing another assumption.

If a value does not save

If a value shows an error or does not save, pause before making more edits. Refresh the workspace, confirm the value, and contact support if the issue continues.
